Most modern EVs employ sophisticated battery management systems that protect battery health while optimizing performance. These systems recommend maintaining charge levels between 20% and 90% for daily use, which still provides ample range for typical driving patterns. This practice not only extends battery life but also helps users develop more efficient charging habits.
For the rare occasions when longer trips are necessary, improved navigation systems with integrated charging station information make journey planning straightforward. The growing network of high-power charging stations along major routes has made inter-city travel increasingly practical, though such trips represent a small fraction of typical usage scenarios.
