The Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) has developed the C919, a narrow-body airliner designed to compete with the Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 family of aircraft. The C919 represents a significant milestone in China’s aviation industry, as it is the country’s first domestically produced large passenger jet with a seating capacity of 150-190 passengers and a range of 4,000-5,000 km.
